Private School Leaders
They were Joshua Miner, a science and math teacher and for many years the Director of Admissions at Phillips Andover Academy, and Charles Froelicher, headmaster of Colorado Academy. Miner became the first President of Outward Bound USA and Froelicher was instrumental in starting the Colorado Outward Bound School, the first Outward Bound organization in the United States, in 1962.
